The AMT program at Eastern New Mexico University-Roswell (the only program of its kind in New Mexico) has an excellent reputation for producing highly qualified A&P technicians that are FAA certified to work on all types and sizes of aircraft.

       Veridian and CUBRIC are also providers of unique services that include In-flight Simulation for pilot and crew training and Upset Recovery Training using specially modified aircraft.

       With the changing environment in Aviation and transportation safety, it is necessary to bring together strategic partners that will focus on these needs. These dramatic changes in the aviation safety and security environment have created a need for institutions that can rapidly accommodate new and customized training and research programs.  

       The expansion of the ENMU-Roswell AMT program and facility to house the Advanced Flight Safety Training and Research Center (AFSTRC) is a critical element in attracting and developing aviation safety related industries for New Mexico.
