Microsoft Excel 2003/2007

 

Description:  Using realistic scenarios, progress from an introduction to this astounding yet sometimes misunderstood spreadsheet program to proficiently working with it. Before you know it you'll be "crunching numbers" like a pro! Subjects include:

  • Introduction to spreadsheets and Excel (what all those buttons do), understanding formulas, and editing cell values, the importance of "Σ", etc.

  • Using formulas and functions (work smarter not harder)

  • Relative and absolute references

  • Formatting a spreadsheet

  • 3 dimensional references

  • Working with charts (intro)

  • Data analysis using formulas (PMT, IF & AND)

  • Managing Workbook Data

  • Intro to Tables (Not the kind in Word, these are really cool!)

  • Working with Tables

  • Macros - Planning, Enabling, Recording, Running - All things macro

  • Working With Charts (Advanced)

  • Using various functions for "What-If Analysis" (Scenario Manager, Goal Seek, Solver and Analysis ToolPak)

  • Pivot Tables and Charts

  • Program Integration

Classes can be scheduled in 2, 4 or 6 hour blocks.
